Natural Language Software Firm Moving to New Headquarters

Spokane, Wash., January 9, 2015: Next IT, developer of Alme, the world’s most trusted virtual assistant platform, today announced plans to move from its current location in downtown Spokane to a newly-constructed, single-tenant building located at 12809 E. Mirabeau Parkway in Spokane Valley’s Pinecroft Business Park. The move is slated for fall of 2015.

The decision to move from Spokane’s historic Paulsen Center comes as a result of the company’s growth. Next IT currently employs 160 people and is a leader in the rapidly expanding virtual assistant market.

“Our design team’s intent has been to create a space that facilitates employee interaction, sharing of ideas, and both informal and formal collaboration – all supporting our culture of innovation.  The result should be an environment that enhances work satisfaction, productivity and efficiency,” said Dave Remington, Next IT’s acting Chief Financial Officer.

The new space will feature a variety of work areas, including individual offices, paneled systems for those that need more privacy, huddle spaces for quick conversations, conference rooms, various seating on its two floors and an open center-space with bleacher seating for impromptu or company meetings.

“We see this move as a credit to Spokane’s tech industry growth,” said Fred Brown, Next IT’s founder and CEO. “Our new building facilitates our increasing need for space while making it easier for teams to meet and share ideas.”

Next IT is representative of the innovative companies that Pinecroft Business Park, with its many amenities and ability to complete custom builds, seeks to draw to its development.

At Pinecroft, Next IT employees will enjoy perks like free parking, a fitness center, a game room, an outdoor basketball court and close proximity to the Spokane River, Centennial Trail, YMCA and both Mirabeau and Discovery parks.
