We’re excited to speak at SXSW 2017 on the topic of AI. Here’s why:
Over the past year, increasing attention has been given to AI, bots and conversational interfaces.
Next IT already has 15 years of experience successfully deploying virtual assistants. The recent attention around the technologies that Next IT has long been devoted to advancing has produced a surge of valuable and interesting discussions, and we’ve enjoyed bringing our experience, expertise and unique perspective to those conversations.
Now, we are excited to continue to advance the conversation through our SXSW panels.
Community votes count for a third of the overall selections, and we need your help to make sure we have another successful year at SXSW.
A bit more about our panels…
Next IT VP Jen Snell and a panel of AI experts from across the industry will explore the human-machine relationship, the role of digital trust for users, and how we are training our intelligent systems with both intentional values and unconscious biases.
As developers continue to push the boundaries of artificial intelligence, we’ll grow increasingly dependent on conversational tools, such as bots, for personal tasks and sophisticated business interactions. So how are we developing AI that reflects our very human values, and how we can design better machine interactions to build digital trust?
Vote to find out!

Rick will dive into the technical, temporal and cultural questions that an enterprise must consider in order to successfully deploy an AI strategy.
On this panel, Next IT will bring our AI expertise to issues important to the music community. Along with Ticketmaster President Jared Smith and artist managers and producers, we’ll dive into how the entertainment industry is adjusting to technical advancements.
We’re excited to provide technical experience and voice to this industry panel, and anticipate a very interesting and important conversation.
